Mosaic Parcel H – Merrifield, VA

This project consists of two apartment buildings consisting of a total of 511 units with type 3A construction. The buildings is six-levels and surrounds an eight-level precast parking garage with 1032 spaces. In addition, there will be retail and amenity areas on the ground level at each building.

The units are constructed with pre-engineered floor and roof trusses supported by wood stud bearing walls. The exterior wood walls are a 2-hour rated assembly. We will utilize the exterior and interior sheathing to resist the lateral loads. The wood framing will be supported by a conventionally reinforced concrete transfer slab supported by concrete columns and walls. The parking garage is composed of precast concrete double Ts, spandrels, inverted T beams, columns, and walls. This is supported by a conventionally reinforced concrete foundations system.
